So the 2013 was one of my favorite
vintages there’s just so much fruit There and then you throw that in a
magnum and it is just this perfect Celebration. It kind of reminds me of
when you’re on a dance floor and Somebody shows up and now dances with everybody else and all you can do is sit Back and admire it instead of being
competitive just sit back and go, ”Wow, That person really knows how to dance.”
And this wine it really knows how to dance. I think the 2013 has those bigger, bolder
but yet elegant tannins and I think that Is what makes it so special. Really bright fruit, very fresh. For a Cabernet this even smells bright. Magnums age just so Beautifully and gracefully and the
palate just goes on forever and the Structure is there, it’s really
beautifully integrated with the fruit It’s just, it’s harmonious. I would say age
worthy, this one’s got Legs on it, big time legs. What two years
have done especially in a larger format Is really remarkable. The current vintage magnums a lot of Times I’m always thinking, ”Hide it away
don’t drink it for a couple years.” But, This is tasting great. Yeah even though
this is only six years old, this is Tasting nice now and for another 16 years. Wine is best enjoyed with friends and Company. This magnum, you can just share The wealth so to speak. This is a great magnum to take to a party. It Probably won’t last very long, but it is
pretty amazing. This is definitely Something you want to celebrate and
commemorate an event with. This is Definitely a magnum to cellar. 15 years,
drinking it for your 10-year anniversary, Just for fun on a Tuesday night, why not?
This is definitely the vintage that you Want to hold on to.
