a special birth year edition Because we have a few good friends who
were born in 1989 that are turning 30 This year. Dirty 30! Cam Jordan, who is a big fan of Jordan wines is 30 and Ayesha Curry, Taylor Swift, Taron Egerton, James Harden, Jimmy Butler, Rob Gronkowski retired. Yes, retired at 30. I wish. And a special shout out to David Henry who just had Jordan wine with his
dad and newborn, on Father’s Day. So let’s see how this taste, 1989! Yeah I know we tasted this last year. Yeah
about a year ago and it was definitely ready to drink at That point. That’s where we gave a good story on how we kept the rain and the moisture Out of the vineyard with a helicopter so
if you want that story go back to our Old video, we’re not going to say it here. 1989 was more of a challenging vintage it was Definitely cool and wet and Rob was
saying that it was probably one of our Most Bordeaux-like harvests of the 80’s,
big weather impact. Yeah and really Kind of the structure of the wine, he
said was very Bordeaux like. A little bit of cork in mine. So there’s
definitely still that cedar, that kind of Character. Yeah, I remember tasting it
last time it being a little on the Lighter side. I still get that, but you know
our classic acidity is there which helps These wines age. That’s a nice finish, it’s definitely
leaner like you said. Yeah I mean Think if you’re celebrating your 30th
birthday and you want to open an 1989 open It, oh yeah. Enjoy it, it’s good. Drink now! Have more than one Bottle on your 30th birthday, you only turn 30 once! And food pairing, I think this could hold up to a lot of different things because it still has quite about of acidity. Honestly it’s so lean, it’s really nice
on its own as well. Yeah I agree. Yeah nothing to add to that one here,
that’s it. So yeah anything else on this One? Yeah I’ll just say all those 1989
birthdays, enjoy! Cheers! It’s only downhill from here.
